This chart published by Solmetric Corporation gives a good idea about how the solar output is influenced by the orientation of the panels towards the equator and against the horizontal. Unfortunately these charts are not available for places outside the US.
Therefore Myrtle Beach, SC was chosen as it has a similar latitude to the Central Coast.
It is interesting to see that the solar panels are quite forgiving to positioning. Looking at the range of 95% performance, the angle towards the horizontal can be from 15o to 45o if the angle towards north is +- 30o.
