CCCE will present at CEN Sustainability Talk

CEN launches first in a series of Sustainability Talks

The Community Environment Network (CEN) will kick off the first in a series of Sustainability Talks on Thursday, 20 March, 2014 with the focus on Climate Change, local impacts and local actions.

“The CEN Sustainability Talks are designed to engage and inform our community about local issues and local actions to move the region towards environmental sustainability”  said John Asquith, Chairman. “The idea of environmental sustainability ensures that we think about future generations as we make decisions about the lifestyles we want now”.

“The first Sustainability Talk is about Climate Change. Richard Weller, from CEN’s Climate Future Committee, will talk about the latest information on Climate Change  and the projected impacts for the Central Coast.  Joachim Muller from the Central Coast Community Energy Association will talk about what the community is doing to promote and implement renewable energy projects on the Central Coast.”

The Sustainability Talk will be held at the Central Coast Marine Discovery Centre on Thursday, 20 March, 2014 from 7-9pm. Cost is $5 for CEN members and $10 for others (wine & cheese included). Booking are essential – phone 4349 4756 or email: [email protected].
